Case Closed

　This time, I will introduce “Meitantei Conan”. This work has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday since 1994.

The protagonist, high school student Detective Shinichi Kudo, witnesses a suspicious transaction site and is given the drug Apotoxin 4869.

Although he miraculously escaped death, his body became a child. So Shhinici called himself Edogawa Conan in order to hide his identity from the organization.Conan solves many cases while taking the credit of her childhood friend, Ran's father, detective Kogoro Mohri.

Conan can investigate the incident secretly, sleep Kogoro Mohri using an anesthetic gun, and change his voice using a bow tie to show reasoning to everyone.


Normal story is interesting to reason about events that happen every day, but I recommend a story that involves a "black organization".　The "black organization" is the organization that gave Shinichi apotoxin 4869 and is an important character in the story.　The emergence of this organization often puts Conan in danger.

This manga has many popular characters.　Characters such as Kid the Phantom Thief, Heiji Hattori,Toru Amuro,  and Shuichi Akai.　This time I will skip the details, but the personal story is also very interesting.　Please read it if you are interested.

A new movie will be released in April.

    I'm very happy to read your explanations of various manga. The story lines certainly seem deeper than I suspected. Do you gather all of your knowledge of each story only from the manga in question, or do you read supplementary information about the story from another source? One thing I would like to mention has to do with the first two lines of your post. Was there a mistake there? They read like this: This time, I will introduce “Meitantei Conan”. This time, I will introduce “Detective Conan”. I seems repetitive.

    As many Japanese children look forward to watching Detective Conan every Saturday, I used to watch it with my sister when I was a child. It has long history with the fans, and released movies and games. Recently, I have heard that the story plot has been made by the comic book's author and he is considering the astonishing ending. If you know about the interesting news, can you share it with me?

    This is one of my favorite anime and when I was a child, I often watched it with my family. Various stories was astonishing me every time and I respect the author because he has invented so many stories and attracted a lot of fans until now. By the way, I've heard a story about the protagonist name. That is he was named after two famous novel writers. If you know about this, please tell us!
