Attack on Titan

Today we will talk about the Attack on Titan. This work has been published in Shonen Magazine since 2009. The number of safety publications in Japan exceeds 840 million and is a very famous work.

Ellen lives in a city surrounded by a giant fence and one day her mother is killed by a giant who suddenly appears. Ellen decides to destroy every single giant, and joins Scout Regiment to investigate the giants.

So, as you work, you begin to see that giants are not naturally present, but manipulated artificially. From there, the story goes on and on.

The recommended point of this story is the battle scene with the giant. Combat technology that leverages Ellen's childhood friend Mikasa and Armin's strengths.

↑Armin, Ellen, Mikasa

The battle scene of Captain Levi, Ellen's boss, is a masterpiece. The battle of Levi, who is said to have the fighting power of one group alone, is drawn very beautifully. The video is a battle scene of Levi.
Be careful if you are not good at gross desk.

From January of next year, Attack on Titan events will be held at Universal Studios Japan.
Popular attractions will be special versions, and many goods will be sold.

Why don't you read a manga and go to Universal Studios Japan to play?

  1. Your blog title is appropriate to introduce the Japanese comic books, which makes new people getting more interested. What's more, the event in Universal Studios Japan is interesting. What kind of attraction will start? Is it only in Japan?

    1. Thank you for your comment.
Since it is an event under the title of "Cool Japan", I think it is Japan only. There is also Conan at this event, so I'll write more in detail next time I introduce Conan!

  2. Although I've never read this manga before, my friends enjoy reading this books. The picture of the attraction looks really fun!! So I want to ride it when I visit Universal Studio Japan with my friends next time! I've heard that there is a live action film of this comic. So how about adding the information about it? Maybe the movie helps people to understand the comic's world briefly and easily.

    1. Thank you for your comment. There is also a live-action version, but I did not introduce it because it is not so recommended. I should have written that it is not recommended. I will refer to it.

  3. This might be a difficult question, but I often wonder what the popularity of picture-based manga has on the general literary level of people in a given group (for example, Japanese people between the ages of 10 and 30 years old.) What do you think? In other words, do you think that reading manga (picture-based literature) causes people to read less non-picture based literature, or more?
