My Hero Academia

Welcome to My Hero Academia !

As previously announced, we will introduce  My Hero Academia.

This work was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2014, and is popularly known in Japan under the nickname “Hiroaka”.
It is like American comics and is popular overseas.

The stage is a superhuman society where about 80% of the population has a unique constitution. However, the protagonist Izuku Midoriya is born with “no individuality” that has no personality.

One day, Midoriya met Allmight, the number one hero.
The way from meeting Allmight to Midoriya's hero will move a lot.

One of the points in this work is that the names and abilities of characters such as high school classmates are easy to understand.
For example, Kaminari Denki is derived from Japanese "kaminari"= lightningand "denki"= electricity💡, and its ability is charged.

This easy-to-understand catchy name, appearance, and personality make it easy to grasp the character and read it very easily.

Another point is the struggle and growth to become a hero. In particular, Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo often see growth. As an aside, my favorite character is the Katsuki Bakugo. The highlight is the change in the relationship between the two.

The story is not complicated and there is no grotesque description, so it is easy to read even for people who don't read comics very much.

The second movie will be released this winter, so please watch it if you are curious!

  1. Your review sounds interesting! I've heard the name of this comic before, but I've never watched it. As you said, the characters's names are really catchy and they show their personalities. By the way, I have a suggestion for you. How about underlining keywords which you want to tell the readers? If so, readers feel easier to read your post.

  2. Thank you for informative and considerate introduction. This manga is released on every Saturday and my sister is watching it. Your tag is effective for browsers to read this post and find the similar one. I think there are some technical words related to manga, which is hard for me to understand easily. What does "no individuality" mean?

    1. I'm sorry that the explanation is difficult to understand.
In other words, the Izuku Midoriya is the same living body as us.Next time I will write more clearly!

  3. Hi Ayano, I like the visual change you made to your blog. The contrast of the books and green grass is very catchy.
One thing I would like to suggest has to do with the YouTube link you put at the bottom of your post. Actually, you don't want readers to leave your page if possible. The answer to that is to embed the YouTube video right into your post so that readers can look at it there without leaving the page. If you follow this link, you can see how to do that. https://www.wikihow.com/Embed-a-YouTube-Video-in-a-Blogger-Blog Other links describing how to embed video in your post can be found on the PUK PE Blogging Tips page.

  6. It seems I should get more into the anime world, as I didn't know this anime either. Yet it seems this anime is also interesting and would be easy to start with for me.
I would like to point out that you added some emojis in the description, which I find nice, because they make the post look colorful and easy to read. Nice job again.
